SLCR is currently piloting a revisit procedure in five of the seven regional offices (Springfield, Poplar Bluff, Cameron, Macon and Jefferson City). These regional offices will be reviewing deficiencies cited at complaint investigations and surveys/inspections to determine if a desk review revisit can be conducted. A draft procedure has been developed and outlines the revised process. The procedures explains which deficiencies may qualify for a desk review revisit, what evidence SLCR will collect if a desk review revisit is being considered, and when it may be appropriate to conduct an onsite revisit instead of a desk review revisit.
